Rt. Hon. Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, revealed earlier today that Britain will be awarding around 300 new scholarships during 2016-17 to Indian students who choose to study in the UK. The announcement is part of the launch of '2016: UK-India Year of Education, Research and Innovation'.
Mr Javid is currently on a three day to India together with Jo Johnson MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science, in a bid to showcase Britain's strengths in research, innovation, technology and education.
