Mayuri Parmar Amin is the founder of Parmar Advisory – a business and communications consultancy. She was appointed Director of Conservative Friends of India in 2013, helping to connect the Indian diaspora to the Conservative party and contributing to their majority win at the 2015 General Election. As Deputy Head of the Diverse Communities Unit at Policy Exchange, a leading centre-right think tank, she also focussed her research on diversity and equality in the UK.
Mayuri was a member of the organising committee for UKWelcomesModi, leading the Communications team. Following the success of the UKWelcomesModi online campaign, Mayuri was invited to advise the Indian Ministry for External Affairs on how social media can be used to connect the Indian diaspora in the UK and across the world. In 2018, she was recognised as a “35 under 35 Young Leader in India-UK Relations” by India Inc.
