Conservative Friends of India helped organise an event for the Britiah Indian community in Barnet on 10th July at the Shree Aden Depala Mitramandel UK Community Centre in Finchley.
Greg Barker MP, the Minister appointed by the Prime Minister to help boost business relations between the UK and India, spoke to the nearly 100 local residents who attended the evening. The Minister spoke about what the Government is doing to boost Anglo-Indian trade and took questions from the floor on a number of related issues.
The event was held in conjunction with the local MPs Mike Freer, the MP for Finchley and Golders Green, and Theresa Villiers MP, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and MP for Chipping Barnet, who have been working hard for their local communities.
