Conservative Friends of India Midlands Community Forum
Thursday 13th September, 6.30pm – 9pm
Shree Ram Mandir, 8 Walford Road, Birmingham, B11 1NR
We are delighted to announce the first Conservative Friends of India (CF India) Community Forum on Thursday 13th September at the Shree Ram Mandir, Sparkbrook with the Co-Chairman of CF India, Lord Popat of Harrow, Paul Uppal MP, and CF India Director, Asheem Singh.
Today’s Conservative Party is a mirror image of our country: confident, progressive and inclusive. Many within the British-Indian community share those values, yet have historically been under-represented within the Party. The Conservative Friends of India was launched by Prime Minister, David Cameron in April 2012, to make a difference. This milestone event in the Conservative Party’s history was the first step to reconnecting it with the British Indian community.
CF India has already hit the ground running since its launch, recruiting hundreds of new members and planning a schedule of events and campaign days for the rest of the year. We want to use this forum to find out your issues and concerns. We also want to provide you with an opportunity to find out more about us.
